Are your spider ears burning?
Media are showcasing and relying on the University of Richmond at unprecedented levels. During the 2019–20 academic year, university stories and experts made more than 25.7 billion media impressions, a cumulative measure of the potential number of readers, listeners, or viewers. That number is up from 8.1 billion the previous year and 6.7 billion two years ago.
The range of topics Richmond’s experts address is as striking as the overall number. Whether it’s COVID-19, racial justice, STEM research, history, politics, law, or many, many other subjects, this liberal arts university’s broad-based strengths make Richmond a go-to source.
Here’s a snapshot that captures just a bit of the billions. Be proud, Spiders.
